Clear and present danger
To the editor:
While the coronavirus ravages China and seriously threatens other parts of the world with contagion, the U.S. has, thus far, been well insulated from deep penetration by the new bug.
Our country and our people are facing a much larger threat than the coronavirus invasion. For many decades now we’ve all witnessed a variety of protests in the streets of our cities with many turning violent and yielding catastrophic results. Most Americans looked upon these with thoughts of safety, at a distance, and viewed the participants as fringe groups or radical elements for a particular cause. In the last decade though, the political dynamics of our country have undergone a huge fundamental alteration and we’ve seen an entire political party reinvent itself to become the voice of anti-American radicalism and, through a legitimate political process, the Democratic Party of old has become the Socialist Democratic Party of today.
Unfortunately, the ideas for the future of our country being presented by the tone deaf, “non-socialist” candidates in the Democratic Party are absent any specificity or credibility. Their only theme is the replacement of our very successful current president. Yet, these so-called “moderate Democrats” are being completely upended by the current frontrunner who achieved his status by declaring himself a Socialist and touting the Socialist Doctrine of failed states enslaving their citizens at the hands of merciless dictators exercising total government control over everyone save the elitist taskmasters. Sanders defends his support of Cuba by reminding us that Castro began a program to reduce illiteracy but he failed to mention is was only a part of the indoctrination plan for future slaves to be able to read and write the Socialist doctrines and better support the ruthless dictatorship that a Socialist regime inevitably creates.
The party of open borders, sanctuary cities, investigation obsession, obstruction and zero plans for improving the lives of American citizens other than changing their names to “Comrade,” must sort out who and what they are in just a little over 8 months. Right now, all we know is that a devout Socialist is the frontrunner as the Democratic Party’s presidential nominee and for most Americans, that will be quite enough.
Party over country and Socialism over freedom will never be supported by Independents or Republicans.
