Traffic, again, is a mess

To the editor:

Here we go again; 20 minutes to get from the 4-way to Veterans!

Can we get the DOT to ban all parking on Pine Island Road in Matlacha and add 50 parking spaces in Matlacha Park? It seems there is plenty of room there.

If someone reaches out to the DOT, tell them to shut down the school crossing light at Phillips and Stringfellow; there hasn’t been any kids there since they removed the crossing guard 5 years ago (now it’s just a speed trap!).
