Museum of the Islands thanks VFW, Legion
To the editor:
Our Museum would like to thank the members of the VFW Post 4353 and American Legion Post 136. Recently, these organizations funded and installed all new light fixtures at your museum. This upgrade greatly improves the view of displays, as well as enhances the atmosphere. Their volunteer crews spent several valuable weekends ensuring the fixtures were properly placed and installed. The improvement has also been a huge morale boost for the volunteers and visitors.
Year after year, the VFW and Legion are always providing support and labor ensuring our community can continue to preserve the rich history of early Pine Island. As always, we are very appreciative!
