Eden Oaks?

To the editor:

One more piece of information to consider in the protection of our island and habitat in two words: Eden Oaks.

Yes, it is being proposed in an incorporated city, Fort Myers, but the impact effects Sanibel and many other coastal areas nearby. And why is the city of Ft Myers even considering it? Progress? No, tax $$$. And possibly greed on the part of the developer, who is seeking revenue, not sustainable habitats. If a municipality or government of the people goes along with that, why part to they play?

Try clipping a mangrove tree here and you could get in big trouble. However, bring in a development and maybe it is OK?
