November elections a true ‘litmus test’ for our country
To the editor:
“SSSHHH we’re not Socialist.”
“Well, not all of us anyway.”
While that may be the “official stance” of the majority of the elected officials of the Democratic Party, it’s just not all that clear to the rest of us.
Some very vocal Democratic Party members have openly declared their loyalty to socialism and in a recent Gallup Poll: 60 percent of Democrats favored socialism over capitalism.
For me, it has been a very unexpected and shocking experience to watch our country over the past decade slipping further into the bottomless pit of socialism and witnessing the unparalleled division of our citizens begun by the previous administration.
When I see the organized anarchist protesters of ANTIFA on the news, it is reminiscent of the old newsreels of the Hitler Youth Groups of the 1930s in Nazi Germany attempting to silence and intimidate everyone that represented any disagreement with their authoritarian ideology.
The upcoming nationwide elections in November will represent a true “litmus test” of the will of the American voters to be pulled to the far left by the Democrats or to remain a free republic preserving law and order along with the rights of the individual.
