The Board of From Our Hearts would like to say thank you for everyone’s support at the annual OctoberBreast Music Fest held on Oct. 16. In particular we are sending a huge thank you to Miceli’s Restaurant for sponsoring this event. The family and staff gave us a never-ending supply of support and enthusiasm that made the day a lot of fun.
A big thanks to Tommy Barr, Strange Arrangement and Skinny Water Seagrass Band for giving us an afternoon of fantastic music. In addition to music, 50/50s and raffles we had a visit from the Pink Heals fire truck.
Pink Heals mission is about supporting all illnesses and needs within a community by keeping fundraising in that community. That is exactly what From Our Hearts is about. Raising funds to support qualifying residents of the greater Pine Island area with breast cancer screening and treatment.
We know it takes an island to fight breast cancer and this island is the best. The support is unending, but presently so is cancer.
