Thank you to sponsors, volunteers and donors for successful 2016 Bert’s Redfish Challenge

To the editor:

I wanted to take this opportunity to sincerely thank the many individuals and businesses that supported the recent Bert’s Redfish Challenge to benefit the FISH organization. Support of the event helps our organization to provide assistance to in-need island families and children in the upcoming holiday season and beyond.

We cannot thank Jason Snyder and all the other volunteers enough for organizing this event on our behalf. I would like to say a special thanks to Bernard Johnson, owner of Bert’s Bar, who has hosted this fundraiser for many years.

In addition, there were many sponsors who made the event possible, including FISH volunteers Judy Edgington, Karen Hanson, Mary Kushnir and Sally Lamberg. And lastly, congratulations to all of the winners; some truly amazing redfish were caught that day!

Thanks to all once again and may you all be as blessed in the upcoming holiday season as you have blessed us.
