Island resident issues an open plea for help

To the editor:

As a Pine Island resident, I would like to request the owners of the LORAINE- 8 to remove the derelict boat and trailer from the Winn-Dixie parking lot.

This boat and trailer has been there for over a year and are in such poor condition that it has no value to anyone and will not likely be sold.

Please don’t make it hard for Winn-Dixie to be good neighbors.
