How serious is Hillary about being president?
To the editor:
I watched the third debate and what I saw was Mr. Trump and Secretary Clinton on stage having a really good debate about the 2nd Amendment and Supreme Court. Both of them did a good job in explaining their respective positions on these matters. They even went about it in the serious manner that it deserved.
When the question came up on being fit to serve as president and the question to Secretary Clinton was to explain the situation between the State Department and the Clinton Foundation and their relationship to the emails that have circulated that have, what appears to many, as the Clinton Foundation getting donations from various folks and foreign governments for favors of the State Department, all at once the serious face that Hillary had on during the previous discussions was now graced with a huge smile. It looked like the smile that your small child would give you when you know that the answer that you’re going to get is really going to be a whopper and it will be anything but a reasonable answer. Secretary Clinton did give a whopper of an answer. She chose not to even mention anything about the State Department or the emails, but went straight into how great the Clinton Foundation was and went into the canned memorized things that she has spouted all along while smiling with that very insincere smile.
The rest of the debate, in my opinion, was just more of the canned speeches that Secretary Clinton had given before. I actually wondered if she had copied Marco Rubio’s method of regression into memory instead of being honest with the public that really wanted answers about how trustworthy can she be?
Looking forward to the next couple of weeks before the election, I seriously doubt that Secretary Clinton will give any revelations or press conferences that will shed any light on the steady drip of emails coming out that continue to show how unfit she really is to be president.
It is apparent that the media will not pursue the many issues surrounding the “pay for play” Clinton Foundation and the Department of State, because they have already committed to supporting Secretary Clinton and would not want to do a complete back step into saying how wrong they are about her.
