McCain no hero?
To the editor:
You are sitting at your favorite watering hole on Pine Island. A 70 year old man with a blond wig and his 46 year old Russian speaking trophy wife ask if it is ok to sit next you. No more than 3 words exit his mouth and you ascertain Mr Blond Wig is a slick talking New Yorker. In the next 10 minutes he reveals the following facts about himself.
“I was raised by very wealthy parents. I applied for and received 6 deferments to avoid military service during the Vietnam War. And speaking of Vietnam, Sen. John McCain is a bum and a fraud. McCain is no war hero. McCain got captured. A hero would have escaped capture. Oh, by the way, this is my 3rd wife Melania. She is 25 years younger than me. She was a Communist before coming to America. My name is Donald. I’ve declared bankruptcy 4 times. There are 169 Federal lawsuits pending against me. I hate Mexicans, Gays & Lesbians, and no Muslim is a good Muslim. This includes the 5,896 Muslims officers and enlisted servicemen and servicewomen in the U.S. Military. We need to deport them. My name is Donald Trump. Would you vote for me for president of the United States?”
Sen. John McCain is the recipient of the Silver Star, Legion of Merit, Distinguished Flying Cross, Purple Heart and the Bronze Star. His sense of honor kept him with his fellow POWs after McCain was offered an early release from the Hanoi Hilton. During these exact years, Donald J. Trump was dodging military service via 6 deferments. Trump never had the courage to serve our country 1 single day in his life.
Vietnam is not over. Nothing has changed. A Vietnam War protester, 6 time draft dodger, insults an American POW is now running for president of the United States.
