An open letter to the community of the Matlacha/ Pine Island Fire Control District
To the editor:
I would like to thank everyone for the overwhelming support and encouragement on my recent promotion to fire chief. I have had the pleasure of meeting several members of our community during the pinning ceremony. I also had residents stop by the station and call to congratulate me on this achievement. Words cannot express how thankful I am to be part of such a great and loving community!
The firehouse is always open to the community to see the trucks and meet our staff. Please take advantage of this and get to know your first responders. We’d love to see you!
