Islander thanks passersby for help
To the editor:
Just a little/BIG thank you to the people who bothered to stop traffic, run up the road just to help me. I walk Matlacha every day that I’m not working. This week I was walking and watching a newborn dolphin and his mama by the small bridge by Sandy Hook. Some lazy fisherman left a large pile of oysters (my fault for not watching my footing). I fell very hard and to my amazement and gratefulness all these strangers stopped to help me! Just when the world seems so lost you realize there is still so much good!
Thank you all again, I’ll never forget you, and I will pay it forward as we all should.
