Obama doctrine failures
To the editor:
As Obama swings into his last year of his presidency, he goes to Cuba and sends out a wave of hypocrisy to the media about his so called Obama doctrine that they may write about the virtues and glorification of it.
Obama and his supporters want to showcase the Obama doctrine by showing how Obama is taking on isolated authoritarian regimes in Myanmar and Cuba.
How interesting is that none of where the last few years the Obama doctrine has taken us will never be mentioned by those who desire to give Obama a flying send off from his presidency. But let us look at the real Obama doctrine, the one that shows the public what the doctrine really means. The Obama doctrine is not one of dealing with authoritarian leaders but one that is intent on destruction and misery. Here we have the doctrine of Obama stating that’s “who we are” when he tells us that we need to have regime changes such as Qaddafi must go, that Mubarak must go and that Assad must go.
This doctrine created a total destruction of Syria and Libya and loss of many hundreds of thousands of people, plus the displacement of millions of people that have and still are enduring misery.
The last piece of the Obama doctrine is now the blaming of France and the U.K. over Isis taking over Libya.
Obama is now focused on trying to scrape together any semblance of foreign policy that he can be remembered by. Even trying to assure everyone that he is doing well when, in fact, the world is on fire and he is off to Cuba to showcase a ball game and leave our European allies to take the blame for the Obama doctrine’s failing. This is the real Obama doctrine and not the polished history short version that is being created by the Obama supporters.
