Job well done … local business praised for its hard work
To the editor:
I recently had one of your local advertisers, Gerard Tree Service, out to our house for work around the property. Before that day, Ben Armstrong had come out, walked the entire property and made suggestions of what needed removing, how they would do it and approximately how much time it would take them.
On the day of the work, Mr. Gerard and his crew arrived promptly at 8 a.m. with four men and a crane, stump grinder, hauling truck and a huge tractor. They worked steadily for 8 hours, cutting trees, grinding stumps, hauling away truckloads of vegetation, removing thick vines, clearing a path through an overgrown driveway.
They were polite, friendly and extremely hard working and barely stopped for lunch. They transformed the property.
People talk about being afraid of hard work, not these guys!
I just wanted to go on record saying thank you publicly to this most deserving local business.
