ClamJam chairman delighted to contribute efforts on behalf of COSL

To the editor:

I am pleased and honored to partner with Center for Organic and Sustainable Living and Green Planet Farms as event coordinator and chairman for Pine Island ClamJam, an event to promote Pine Island’s abundant seafood and particularly its delicious Pine Island varied clam harvest.

Having been instrumental in taking two small Pine Island events and turning them into two of the area’s largest events, I am delighted to contribute my efforts in behalf of COSL, a Pine Island organization that provides the community with information, education and encourages and promotes farming for human sustenance.

I and my companies have experience in every detail of hard copy and digital production for over 40 years; Ad&PrintCraft of SW FL offers offset and digital printing and Radikal Productions Inc. offers event planning, video and music production, online digital marketing and public relations.

However, I feel my real forte is a fundamental understanding what sponsors, vendors and event visitors want and need to have fun. I believe other professionals recognize my unique perspective and professional approach in achieving successful results for all who participate and, in addition, look forward to helping another worthy Pine Island organization achieve its full potential . . . and ClamJam becoming Pine Island’s next “biggest” event.

ClamJam is two full days of local live entertainment, arts and craft vendors and local seafood to enjoy onsite or take home. Lisa Dence, manager at Olde Fish House Restaurant and Marina in Matlacha, said, “We are excited to be a part of this year’s ClamJam Food & Music Festival. We are looking forward to being able to showcase our local clams supplied to us by Cutthroat Clams located here on Pine Island.”

This is a family event to be held on Jan. 23 and 24, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. The location is 5 miles north of Pine Island Center, 14900 Stringfellow Road, Bokeelia, across the street from the Bokeelia Fire Department.

Vendor Spots are still available and Sponsorship opportunities are still being offered, check website at www.PineIslandClam-Jam.com or call Pat Burman at 239-283-0777
