The Kiwanis Club of Greater Pine Island gives thanks
To the editor:
The Kiwanis Club of Greater Pine Island wishes to extend a huge thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s Fall Festival a tremendous success. It takes a community to raise a child and the Pine Island community excels in supporting their children.
Special thanks go to everyone at Pine Island Elementary School who helped make it possible for us to use this wonderful venue for this event. It was perfect and everyone involved was most helpful. Huge thanks to all the organizations, businesses and individuals, who gave of their time and/or money. Without your support, the event would not have been a success.
The list is long and includes: Michelle Sedlar and her entire Trunk or Treat crew, Eric Post & Lazy Flamingo, Joan and Phil Rosenberg, Riverdale Dental, Winn-Dixie, Stonegate Bank, SunTrust Bank, PI Boy Scouts, Pine Island/Matlacha Fire Department, Pine Island Community Church, Nichole & Paul Pichon and the SPIRIT kids, First Baptist Church of Pine Island, Greater Pine Island Water Company, Lions Club, Matlacha Hookers, Sherry and the Pine Island Moose Lodge, and everyone else who helped with this event.
And last, but certainly not least, an especially big thank you goes to all the wonderful volunteers who came, and worked, and worked and worked! We could not have done it without every single one of you.
Thank you all!
Tonya Player,
Fall Festival chairperson
