VFW Ladies Auxiliary says thanks for successful fund-raiser
To the editor:
The Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars would like to thank all of our friends and the businesses that help to make our fund-raiser a success. The money from our fund-raisers helps to fund the many activities we do for our vets; such as purchasing gifts for the vets at Bay Pines for Christmas, sending cards and gifts overseas to our soldiers, financing the Americanism and Patriots Pen programs at our schools, also the donations we give to FISH, The Food Pantry and many of the other organizations on Pine Island.
The following are business and friends that donated their talents to help: Island Grill, Spa 33, Avon, Lazy Flamingo, Sam’s Club, Christine Hairstylist, St. James Island Spa, Center Bait & Tackle, Starlight Diner, Bubba’s Roadhouse & Saloon, Cupcake Express, Island Time, Center of Attention Spa, Pine Island Hair Salon, Creative Ends Hair Salon, Capt’n Con’s, Great Licks Ice Cream, Winn Dixie, Alden Pines Golf, Pineland Marina, Downtowner SE Car Wash, Waterfront Restaurant, Red’s Seafood House, Museum of the Island Society, Wine & Canvas, Alan Ledesky, Kathy Dilorenzo, Dr. Watson’s Liquors, Ruth Ann Sudberg, WOTM, Long’s Auto Body, Mango Tango Tropicals, Island Girl Fitness Club, Pine Island Auto Care, Paintin Place Matlacha, Claudia Alvarez, Tropical Hair Gallery, Barb Brown, Little Lilly’s Island Deli, CW Fudge Factory, Island Caf’ on the Bay, Advanced Pain Solutions, Joyce Lake and the many volunteers the made this fundraiser possible.
