Pine Island Food Pantry thanks all donors on Shred Day

To the editor:

Thanks to Century 21 Sun Belt Realty, Jeannette Jones and all the agents who helped with Shred Day. Also, to all the Islanders who donated food to the pantry. A total of 495 pounds of canned goods was collected and $39 in cash donations.

This was the first time for this event and we are most grateful to Century 21 for including the Pine Island Pantry. It is with the support of business and individuals that we were able to assist 1,683 families last year.
