VFW Post 136 welcomes members
To the editor:
Post 136 of St. James City was first organized in 1980 and not only survived but thrived thanks to our family of members, Auxiliary, Sons of the Legion and Legion Riders.
We would like you to be a member of our Legion family. We offer fine food, entertainment, a friendly lounge and camaraderie that is second to none on Pine Island! Whether or not you participate in our daily activities or not, your small dues payment helps us donate to veterans, their families and the local Pine Island community.
We honor all veterans and their families! We would like to offer all veterans that have served from August 1990 to today a one year free membership to our Post if you live in the three zip codes of Pine Island and Matlacha. Contact me directly for an application for membership. We look forward to you becoming a member of our family!
