Thanks for successful Junior Olympics

To the editor:

On Saturday the 13th of December, the Pine Island Kiwanis and Lee County Park & Rec hosted the 33 annual Junior Olympics at the Pine Island Little League field. The weather was beautiful and there was a great turnout of participants and spectators alike.

We would like to give special thanks to: Lee County Park & Recreation; Pine Island Kiwanis; Pine Island Dairy Queen; Waggoner & Bruehl; The Shevlin Team; Pat LaCour & Fran Taugner, “the Suntrust Tellers;” and the Hot Dog Ladies!
