Two counts of stupidity

2 min read

To the editor:

First. The Homeland Security Depart-ment has beefed up the security on all federal buildings to protect against possible terrorist acts. Great, but how about securing the borders which are wide open to illegals and terrorists to come into our country? Should that not be the first priority for the safety of the American people and their assets? It appears that the DHS has a problem in determining what is more important – their buildings or the American people.

Second. The brilliant State Department and Obama and his administration have decided to bring people from West Africa, who have been infected with the Ebola disease, to America to be treated here. Their reasoning is, and its Obama’s mentality too, that we need to show the world that we are leaders. The nation is not ready, by all accounts.

The hospitals are not ready for a flow of patients afflicted with Ebola nor are the doctors and nurses fully trained to handle it all. Obama missed many times to show leadership in the past scandals like Benghazi, VA, IRS, NASA, ISIS, Fast and Furious and now the Ebola thing. His idea of leadership is to bring potential danger to our doorstep without knowing how it will be handled or if it can. He is trying to protect West Africa but how about protecting us in America? Again he has made shambles of the Ebola crisis as he has done with the many other scandals under his belt.

Will it all end soon? God help us.
