Tis the season — drive safely
To the editor:
It’s that time of year again. The streets are full of cars, bikers, joggers, dog walkers and golf carts. Thanks to the county, the bike lanes are freshly painted. Please don’t park on them.
We are a community of short cul-de-sacs so even if you are doing the legal 25 mph, it may not be a safe speed – especially if residents, their grandkids and pets are about. If you are asked to “Please slow down,” just do it. Don’t be dumb and stop to start an argument!
Drive safely and have a good winter season, the rest of us will still be here when you get back!
