Time to take responsibility

2 min read

To the editor:

Five and a half years ago, President Obama told the American people that President Bush was fiscally irresponsible because America, under his watch, was $7 trillion in debt. Mr. Obama went so far as to say that the debt, at $7 trillion was un-American.

Now, as the debt exceeds $17 trillion Mr. Obama points fingers in every direction possible and assumes no responsibility. Then there was Fast and Furious. Americans died, on Mr. Obama’s watch and out came the fingers again.

The veterans scandal, where our wounded heros were refused medical treatment with many dying a painful death, and President Obama accepts no responsibility, fires no one, and out comes the fingers once again. The IRS debacle, where the law was broken and the Obama response…nothing. The director, instead of being fired and jailed is permitted to play childish games with the Congressional investigators and in this case the American people got the finger.

Then there’s the open borders where illegals are permitted to enter the U.S. without proper certification creating a health risk and impacting on our economy in an unsustainable fashion. And Mr. Obama claims no responsibility. With the Middle East literally on fire. And, Russia laughing at us.

And Iraq continuing to “build the bomb.”

And our allies in Europe calling us “a paper tiger” that can’t be trusted. And while respect at home and abroad continues to diminish this President continues to dawdle. It’s long past the time for Mr. Obama to do the right thing, admit that the job is too much for him and resign. Those politicians running for election who supported any of the Obama travesties need to be ignored by the voters. Our only hope is for America to return to the cornerstone of its greatness -our national motto – “In God We Trust” – so that morality not moronically is our guideline.

In this way God will once again have a reason to Bless America.
