In support of Art Expo, SJCCA thanks Two Fish Inn for the raffle basket of a night’s stay and a half-day pontoon boat experience and fun pool items and to Corine Beving for her donation of her original watercolor. SJCCA appreciates the gift certificates from Walgreens, Burnt StoreRoad at Pine Island Road, Waterfront Inn, Sandy Hook, The Ragged Ass, Little Lilly’s Deli and Low Key Tiki in support of Art Expo which hosts judged photo show.
Kudos to The Order of the Golden Brush: without that group of artists (who have a forty year history within SJCCA), Art Expo would not exist. Thank you to the Museum of the Islands for your support, to Charlene Russ for helping us in advertising the expo, and to Ed Franks for covering the event.
SJCCA thanks volunteers Wayne Harmon, Judy Green-Weir, Randy King, Ron Mayhew, Ken Johnsen, Jack McManus, Carol Hoyem, Jan Clements, Bob Skribisky, David Priest, Ken Johnsen for set-up and tear down. Thank you to Melissa Meyers, Marie Morrison, Pat Johnsen, Kay Gladstone, Chris Fairbrothers, Cindy Gladstone, Susan Smith and Jody McCollum for working the food and beverage artist’s reception.
Mary Ann Harms cited this Art Expo as the most fun for everyone who attended-until next year! David Priest, president of the Hotshots photo group, cited the photography show as having the most entries ever. Once again, thanks you Pine Islanders for supporting SJCCA programs. Find us at sjccapi.org.
