Did anyone else see the fireball over Pine Island?

To the editor:

Did anyone else see a huge ball of fire shoot over Pine Island at 7 p.m., Sunday Nov. 10?

And, no, I’m not drinking…

I had my dogs out in the backyard, about a half hour after dark. I saw this thing fly in from the northeast. It was silent and was out toward Sanibel or the gulf in seconds. It sped overhead so fast I didn’t have time to grab my camera.

Others must have seen this crazy thing as well. It was such a lovely sunset, too.
