A big thank you
To the editor:
I would like to thank the Pine Island Fire Department Paramedics, Emergency Medical Service (EMS) and the Emergency Helicopter Service. If it were not for their quick response, expert medical training, and hands-on experience getting me to the Lee Memorial HealthPark Heart Unit, this letter would have appeared on Page 6 under the Obituaries. Once again both my wife and I thank these dedicated men and women for the services they perform.
