Shevlins not related

To the editor:

I have received phone calls, people I know have asked and I have been told that some people will not work with me because of Dawn Shevlin’s letters to the editor.

Dawn Shevlin is not, or has ever been, related to Michael Shevlin or “Team Shevlin” in any way.

She is not my wife, daughter, cousin or works with me and never has. She may have Irish ancestry, but that’s it.

While I respect the rights to free speech, I would also like the right to work on Pine Island without being stigmatized by someone else’s opinions.
