Islanders again respond in a generous way

To our fellow Islanders, recently Meghan McCoy did a story about the need for food donations at the Pine Island Food Pantry. WINK -TV news did a follow-up story. Your response was instant and generous as is the Island way. I will not attempt to list names, organizations and businesses that answered the call for help for fear of omitting someone. The pantry is an ecumenical ministry housed cost free in the Catholic Church Life Center and supported by island churches, business, service clubs, social groups and individual donations. To date this year we have served 3,746 adults, children and seniors. We are blessed with a staff of forty hard working dedicated volunteers. With your support we will continue to help those in need on the Island. Many thanks and God’s blessings.
