Exercisers and bikers can legally use roadway shoulders

To the editor:

Please be aware that at this time of year, the Pine Island exercise path will have flooded sections and exercisers will be riding on the Stringfellow shoulder to get around them. You do not need to honk and make obscene gestures at bicyclers who are legally using the shoulder.
