To the editor:
As this year’s Mango Queen, I wish to express my appreciation to all the people that participated in and volunteered for Mango-Mania. Everyone involved did such a wonderful job. I have had the honor to experience something that few people get a chance to experience and for that, I am truly grateful.
I especially want to thank Jennifer Jennings, King Richard II, Craig Timbes, Melissa and John Koferl, Pat Barman, Captain Rick Dobson, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, the Greater Pine Island Chamber of Commerce, all the volunteers, vendors and especially my wonderful family.
