Outrageous decision

To the editor:

It outrages me as a taxpayer of Pine Island that you would wait until the seasonal people go home for the summer and sneak a vote to put fluoride in our water.

We should have had a right to be at the meeting. I am there 6 1/2 months and most are there by January. We pay more taxes than the residents of the island and the residents were given very little notice to attend, how sneaky.

You could not have done much research because everything I have read says fluoride is bad for your health. Most of us are elderly and already have health problems, are you trying to kill us? I think this should be dropped and start over when everyone is back, Especially as it is going to cost us in the end.
