New pole needs new American flag

To the editor:

As I sit in my office at the Subway Center Plaza, I am looking at the American Flag. Through great effort and donations we have a straight flag pole which to hoist our American Flag. As I set here on the Friday before 9-11 and look at the torn, tattered and knotted flag, wondering who is responsible for this flag now that we have a straight flag pole???
