Obama or freedom to be an American? It’s your choice
To the editor:
This is a valid question. We need a leader who will enforce our U.S. constitution, not re-write it. Our constitution was written with one very important word in mind, freedom. All kinds of it. So why are we letting our Commander-in-Chief delete that word? He ‘s doing it. While spending us into a black hole, he is single handedly taking away or rights for freedom as Americans. Obama slaps the hand of big business and then gives them all our money so they will not fail. Hello, does this seem right? No one asked us or cared what we thought, and it was our money. Obama says he is against terrorism, yet he funds it with our money. Did you get that memo? Yea, he gives Hamas, the Palestinian authority, billions of dollars. First he gives them the money, then he tells them “Now sign this Unity agreement and I will tell Israel to negotiate with you”. Hamas is an unrepentant terrorist organization and is recognized as such by both the United States and the European Union. What’s up with that?
Folks, I can go on and on with dozens of examples like these and I probably will until November 2012, in order to convince you that we need a new leader. Obama must go! But, for now, the point to be made is we are the boss, not the president, not big business, us. WE vote the politicians in and out of office, we shop and purchase goods and services. Send them your message, your answer to their decisions made for you, in your best interests of course. God, I hate that verse, “It’s in your best interest”. How do they know? They do not know me personally. I am not a one size fits all girl. I prefer making my own best interest decisions and you should too. Government has no business being in all the places that they are today. Their purpose is simply this; to provide us with services and to keep us safe. That’s pretty much it in a nut shell, and we give them our money to do that. The government is not supposed to do better then us. If they are, then there is no more America, we have entered a communist zone.
Thank you Ralph Brookhart for pointing that out in your letter earlier this month. Ralph mentioned how a lot of our problems are caused by Americans supporting (paying money to) foreign entities. He’s correct. Nothing is made in this country anymore. Prescription drugs if our big business, made in USA. Now think about that one for awhile. Do you think it has anything to do with the healthcare mandate? I mean we can not export our prescription drugs, so maybe they want to ensure the market by forcing you to purchase our only made in the US product. And if you are fuzzy from the medication, well then maybe you will not notice the country going to hell. Got to wonder.
I say, Mr. President, take the phone off the hook! We can not continue to give other nations, especially terrorist nations, our money while we are in this horrendous fiscal economy you have put us in. You just gave another 20 billion to support the Arab Spring! What are you doing? We do not have the money! Maybe that 20 billion could go back into Medicare and you would not have to take that away from us. I thin that if we kept all the billions we “give” away (they do not pay us back) we could fix our money woes here in this country quickly and easily. What do you think?
