Who are the real terrorists?
To the editor:
Well, the terrorists have caused quite a bit of damage. But, big business and the politicians have caused a zillion more damage to this country. Do they expect this country to rebound by kids opening up lemonade stands on the corner? We need industry.
The CEOs of the companies manufacturing overseas should be treated and sentenced as terrorists since they put us where we are today as well as the politicians. They get rich no matter what.
So, instead of putting the guy in jail who is steeling food to feed his family, put the politicians and CEOs in jail.
Then there’s the guy who thinks we should praise Obama for taking out bin Laden. Yeah like he has anything to say about it. He’s a figure head who thinks more about vacations and travel then he does our country. And he’s milking it for all it’s worth.
This would be the time for someone to take over the empty Sears and K-Mart stores and open up a “Made in USA” store.
The gas companies took us over the coals. The politicians are asking for raises while laying off teachers and workers. When do we wake up cause those good old boys will bleed us to death. And, again, I say the American public is half to blame for buying foreign junk in the first place. If you are driving a foreign car, you’re a terrorist, if you buy appliances made overseas, you’re a terrorist.
In a society where sports and entertainment come before education, I guess that’s what to expect.
Like I said, put an 800 percent import fee on their products and they can send al the junk they want to.
A big thumbs up for Dawn Shevlin who did her homework and hit the nail right on the head. If only we could get a few million like her to figure out the transition from imports to made in the USA.
If the oil companies want their huge profits, let them go over and fight for them and send our boys home. They still don’t realize drilling in the Gulf is irresponsible. Will they ever learn?
Perhaps when certain troops win medal of honors, purple hearts, etc., we should have him replace a politician.
Does anybody know where I can get a medium-size rope made in the U.S.? I can’t find a belt made in the U.S., so I guess a rope will have to do.
My memory is getting bad. Was it Larry, Moe and Obama?
