Doing the right thing

To the editor:

If anyone in the Pine Island community knows Courtney Bigler and her girlfriends, please say thank you to these young ladies. A few weeks ago, Ms. Bigler and friends were at the P.I. Pool and found a cell phone in the restroom and returned it to staff. We were able to locate the happy owner and return the phone.

Within an hour, they brought me a purse left in the restroom with lots of valuable items in the purse. I was able to find, call and return the purse to a very thankful woman.

Courtney is the daughter of Teresa and Mike Bigler of Bokeelia and has done an awesome job raising this fine young woman. Just when some people think the young kids are going down the wrong path, look at Courtney.

Thanks Courtney for doing the right thing.
