What a wonderful tribute to Hutch
To the editor:
A big thank you to all blood donors who showed up at the recent LMHS Blood Drive at the Pine Island Moose Lodge on Saturday, March 5. Thanks to you, we were able to collect 51 units of much-needed blood for our LMHS Blood Bank. Fifty-seven potential donors came out to show their support for the Blood Drive dedicated to the memory of Hutch (Larry) Hutchins. This was the biggest turn-out ever for any Blood Drive on Pine Island and it was a wonderful tribute to Hutch.
Your blood will remain in Lee County to help those in need in our own communities.
Also, I would like to thank the Pine Island Eagle, TIB Bank and Southwest Capital Bank for advertising the Blood Drive for us. Because of all of you, this Blood Drive was a complete success.
