Thanks for a very successful car show
To the editor:
The second annual VFW Car Show attendance was up two-fold over last year’s show. More older cars, more newer cars and many, many more inbetween. VFW Post 4353 thanks each and everyone who entered their beautiful rides. It pleased every spectator that walked through the show.
In last year’s letter to the editor, I said this year will be bigger and better and it was, with the exception of one glitch. But an important one and it was completely my fault. Owners of the show cars and their cars did not get the recognition they so deserved. I pushed the trophy time back and tried to rush the trophy awards. As you saw, that didn’t work. It will not happen next year. I hope you won’t hold this against me and you will support us next year at the show. Again, next year will be bigger and better.
