Contribution to PIE Needy Children Fund

To the editor:

Pine Island Cove recently held its fourth annual “Fun Fest” fund raiser. Because of the success of the fund raiser, Pine Island Cove was again able to contribute a portion of the proceeds to the Pine Island Elementary School Needy Children Fund. The remaining portion of the proceeds will help maintain the communities clubhouse.

We would like to acknowledge and thank those local merchants who donated to the fund raiser. Those merchants are: Alden Pines Country Club, Debbie “G” Realtor, Little Lilly’s Deli, SunTrust Bank and Winn-Dixie.

We are asking the residents of Pine Island Cove to support those and all local merchants of Pine Island.
