To the editor:

The Matlacha Hookers extend a sincere thank you to our generous community. Once again we worked together with the Beacon of HOPE and Pine Island Community Church to raise monies for our Hooked on Education Scholarship program.

Thank you to the Moose for providing a warm and friendly atmosphere and their kitchen; Trader’s Hitching Post for being the drop off location; Sandy Hook and Little Lilly’s Island Deli; Pine Island feed; Pine Island Airport and Southwest Capital Bank for providing donations in kind and finally to the members of the Matlacha Hookers and the Matlacha Mariners for giving up their time to achieve a successful event.
