To the editor:
We want to thank Rich Adams, the new commander of the Pine Island VFW Post 4353, for continuing the long-standing New Years Day afternoon party. It was an enjoyable time with great food, outstanding drinks supplied by our beautiful barmaids and good entertainment. The older some of us get, the more we appreciate this early party.
Thank you Rich and all your volunteer kitchen help and we hope to see you again next year same time, same place.
