Please help me find my missing dog
To the editor:
Just wanted to let the islanders know about my missing pup. She is a miniature dachshund named Roxie. She is 3 years old, long haired bread, red hair and black hair around her ears. I live off Thomas Street in Bokeelia and Roxie came up missing Monday morning around 9 a.m. My 9-year old and many friends have been looking for her, talking with neighbors and anyone in the general area. However it is day two and we have not seen or heard about anyone seeing her. I’m pleading with the locals, visitors and anyone else in our area that if you see her, or see someone with her if you could please call me at 239-298-1113.
She is a sweet, mild-mannered dog, who will go up to anyone, will come when called. She has a sensitive stomach and cannot eat people food or scraps, this will make her very ill. She is being missed terribly by my daughter and myself. Not to mention all that know and have come to love her. If anyone has any information about her please call me.
