You find out who your friends are
To the editor:
Although times are tough and most can barely keep food on the table, roof over head, clothes on back and shoes on feet, there are still plenty of family and friends and even a few who really didn’t know James “Big Man” Hart, that did more than their part to make the service on Nov. 6, 2010, at First Baptist Church on Pine Island this past Saturday, a beautiful and wonderful day of celebration and gathering.
Just to name a few, Franklin and Debbie Futch, Cathy and Patrick Caputo, George and Shirley Hart, Jimmy Newland, Ernestine Squires, Marylou Long and Amanda Tores. If your name was failed to be mentioned we apologize. Don’t think your love and support went unappreciated. There was on man who donated $500 without knowing what it was going to be used for. Come to find out, when he dropped off the money to Rita, she got a phone call stating she needed $495 to get a special furlow so that her son, James Jr. (Bubba), could be able to partake in the service. Bubba prepared a speech that was thought to be amazing by all. Peacher Tommy Rickards, brought forth a message “Just be yourself”. That was how Big Man lived his life, just being himself nothing more, nothing less than a man with a huge heart and huge feet who will be loved an missed by so many.
The family would like to thank any and everyone who participated in the support of the fairwell to “a legend in his own time” James “Big Man” Hart. who definitely had a lot of friends returning the favor as well as the respect that this man lived by.
There will be a special tribute ceremony on Easter Sunday when the family will be spreading this ashes. If you would like to be a part of this ceremony, make plans with Rita.
Thank you,
James Hart Jr.
