Red, white and true, a tribute to our brave veterans
To the editor:
Do you know any veterans? If so, do you ever take the time to thank them?
Veterans gave up their lives for your freedom. By being grateful for their service, you are being respectful honoring them. Veterans have left their families knowing they may never come back. Knowing they may not be back to say goodbye to their sons going off to college, or to help their daughters pick out wedding gowns.
Freedom is not free. Scars are not something you can take off. Fighting for our freedom is the most selfless act one can do. Take time to say thank you.
