Love it or leave it

To the editor:

This letter is in response to a letter dated Nov. 24:

I am not ashamed of Pine Island. When I first arrived here 20 plus years ago, I fell in love with it. This is where I wanted to live and spend the rest of my life.

You should have checked out the island before you moved here and found out we didn’t have a beach and that the island did not meet your lifestyle.

This is Pine Island, love it or leave it. I don’t think anyone will miss you.
