Dear islanders
To the editor:
This letter is directed to anyone that uses Pine Island and Stringfellow Roads and if you do, you must come to the four corners eventually. So what do you think when you arrive? I know what I think. Is this the ‘Twilight Zone (1975)? does anything ever change here? Come on all businesses that are enjoying the prime property. They should want to make their property look the best it can. It brings in business, capisce?
The flag pole at the Subway has been bent with nothing on it since Charley. this is disgraceful and disrespectful. Also, can anyone tell me why the paving stopped approximately 300 feet from the center?
Honestly, I never heard of an island with out a beach. Please don’t tell me that a little patch of dirt at the end of Tropical Point is a beach or portrayed as one.
The four corners is the Gateway to Pine Island. No one should be ashamed of where they live.
P.S. Please call me if you feel the same way, 283-5160.
