Common sense 103

2 min read

To the editor:

Music: Why do local bands insist on blaring their music out. They can be heard a block away and yet the people are dancing within 20 feet of the band or sitting within 50 feet. It’s not an outdoor arena. Most of the people dancing are half deaf already, and you bands will probably finish them off. It’s bad enough with the smoke without throwing in the noise.

It seems the young singers now are either talkers or yellers. And they look violent when they perform. Maybe that’s why we have a violent world.

Tattoos: It’s amazing how many people are getting tattoos lately. Especially women and girls. I have one that I got when I got out of boot camp on a dare. I dearly regret it. What was once a beautiful sailing ship is now a complete blur. So to you guys and ladies out there, you can look forward to something that looks like a skid mark down the road. You’ll never recognize it when you get older. but, not to worry, right now you only look like a freak. Later on is when you have to worry.

Problem: Dress code

Solution: Uniforms

Case closed.

Point of interest: The grandson in trouble in Haiti scam is on the island again. So, if you hear the spiel about your grandson in jail, or in trouble, just let lose with a boat horn into the phone.
