Welcoming Dollar General

To the editor:

Regarding the proposed Dollar General store. We’re getting a much needed general store with an island-friendly design and a turn lane at the worst intersection on Pine Island. Isn’t it looking a gift horse in the mouth to worry about whether the columns are round or square and whether the roof is hip or gabled?

I’m sure most of my neighbors join me in welcoming Dollar General and wish them a successful business venture.
