To the editor:
The first annual Car Show was a huge success. First, thanks to Jan Susman, Post Commander and all the hard-working volunteers who made this possible. Second, thanks to all the participants who brought the street rods, hot rods and classics and oldies. The spectators loved every one of them.
In organizing this, I made mistakes and learned a lot. Next year I promise to make it bigger, better and on the blacktop.
A very special thanks to Winn-Dixie, TIB Bank and all those who made the show a huge success.
Proceeds from the Car Show have gone into a fund for helping veterans in need.
Next year I hope to see everyone again. Thank you again for supporting your local veterans of foreign wars.
