To Pine Island residents
To the editor:
My Dad Clifford Richardson, a long-time resident of Pine Island is now a resident of Gulf Coast Village, Harbor Building, 1333 Santa Barbara Blvd, Cape Coral, 33991.
Those of you who have lived on the island a long time should remember him.
Dad had given tours of the island for the Chamber of Commerce. He educated the new comers to the vegetation, animal life and, of course, the bald eagle. He also did such a good job many people moved to the island. He loves the island and misses it. Dad also wrote the “Nature Trails” column for the PI Eagle. The articles told of his wisdom and knowledge of wild life. I cherish those wonderful articles.
Dad is 93 and is forgetful, but he would love to hear from anyone on the island by card or visit. I visit him often and I told him I would let you all know where he is. Send them to him directly in c/o Gulf Coast Village.
Please help his days off the island stay alive with your well wishes, prayers and memories…
