Thank you for making our celebration a success
To the editor:
I would like to thank everyone who made our pre-holiday celebration on Saturday, Nov. 14, a success. Many people were blessed because of the unity our community displayed.Thanks to the following; Heart of Mercy Ministries and their team from Bradenton, Betsy from Pine Island Cares and Beacon of Hope volunteers, the team from Body of our Lord Jesus Christ Min. Peaches the clown and a special thanks to John, owner of 5149 Storage for the use of his property. Also to F.I.S.H for the Thanksgiving basket coupons and to Jackie’s Restaurant for gift certificates donated and to Christina for her help with the kids.
The biggest blessing anyone can receive is the opportunity to bless others. In the Bible, John 13:35 says (Jesus speaking) “By this all will know that you are my disciples, if you have LOVE for one another.” Let us remember the reason for being able to give thanks, for all we have and the reason for the season coming. Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, Prince of Peace, JESUS is the REASON.
